It will never not be wild to me that my 4 year old explorer has been to all these destinations. 4 continents, 25 countries, countless cities & 58 flights 👏🏾🌸 🌿 Don’t let anyone tell you that travel will stop when you have kids. In our case, we’ve actually travelled more since we had her! The next few years will be a lot of repeat destinations which I’m really excited about. 🌷One of the best advices I ever received about enjoying motherhood was to bring them into your already existing life instead of changing your whole life for them. And that’s exactly what we did/do. 🌿 I like beautiful country gardens, historic properties/ruins, film locations, basically romanticising nature? There you’ll find me! I like to think that Adanna now loves the same things and we’re managing to adapt our children to our existing lifestyle. 🌸 Don’t get me wrong, she loves a soft play like most children and once in a while, she might visit one but I’m just not a soft play mum. So we compromise with outdoor play areas and thankfully, National Trust properties have them in abundance. 🎨 These days, I’m trying to get into museums as well because Adanna seems to be fascinated by Art 👀 I’m also *trying* to enjoy farms even though animals scare me 😅 so watch this space! 🌸 We’re slowly moving from summer to autumn & a new school year but I’ll look back on summer 2026 as one of the best summers of my life. 🌺 The one where my family went from 3 to 4. The one where we stayed home. The one where we enjoyed all that England has to offer: its gorgeous countryside, coastal towns and historic cities ❤️ I may have complained too much about the heatwave 😅 but for sure, this has been a summer to remember 🌿🌷
