This is one of the coolest art experiences I’ve found in Connecticut 🌿🎨 I-Park (@iparkct) is a nonprofit organization in East Haddam that hosts fully funded artist residencies within a 450-acre nature preserve. Artists come here from around the world to create, with works tucked throughout the woods, fields, trails and around the pond. Many of the installations are ephemeral, designed to change over time and eventually return to the landscape, which means no two visits to I-Park are exactly the same. While the grounds aren’t open to the public every day, I-Park hosts select events throughout the year, including Open Trails and Open Studios. They have a few upcoming Open Trails events in October and November.  And coming up on September 19 is the annual Illuminations Benefit ✨ This year, eight Connecticut-based artists will be in residence, meeting guests and unveiling new works. The evening also includes a Mediterranean dinner, silent auction, illuminated trails and gardens, dessert by the pond and a bonfire.
