Calling all spicy food lovers

Have you been to Chili Garden? They specialize in authentic spicy Chinese food and I was so impressed with all the dishes I got to try. The restaurant is spacious so perfect for family dinner. There's a variety of spicy and non spicy dishes. The spicy dishes were flavorful with a spicy kick that was so good and not overly spicy. Here's a few dishes that I would definitely get again:

- Wide noodle with beef short rib: Flavorful and spicy and garlicky. I love thick noodles and these were the perfect texture plus the short ribs were so good!
- Chong Qing spicy chicken: Looks super spicy with the plate full of peppers but the spicy level was delicious! It's great as a meal or for snacking while watching tv.
- Dry Pot tofu: I love the flavor of this tofu. It's mala spicy and so addicting.
- Stirred prawns with salted egg yolk : Light and crispy and the prawns are huge!

Let me know what your favorite dishes are!

I love grocery day!

Have you heard of @sayweee_official ? They have the largest selection of Asian groceries online and they deliver straight to your door. I have been using their service for a long time now. The delivery is always so smooth and all the items are packed with care.

I got a few new items to try this time. I'm so excited to try them out and report back. So far the milk cheese cake is amazing. Not too sweet and perfect for dessert. The tteobokki kit is a must try. It comes with fish cake and shredded cheese. The texture is so good. I'll definitely be repurchasing that.

I always have a good meal at @phohanoibayarea

My first time eating Pho Ha Noi was at their San Jose location in the Vietnam Town plaza. Since then I've also eaten at their Cupertino and most recently at the Fremont location. This is the spot I always go to when I crave Vietnamese food. It's always so good. I appreciate the fast and consistent service that they provide. Happy to see that they're opening a new location in Berkeley soon too!

Check them out for your next Vietnamese food craving! And make sure to get those Imperial Rolls!

Mid autumn festival is almost here and the best way to celebrate is with Hong Kong MX mooncakes! This makes the perfect gift for friends and family. The flavor of the White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncake with 2 Egg Yolks is very memorable. The design of the box makes it a very special gift. For a more unique treat try the Lunar-embrace Bunny Lava Mooncake with Bunny Shape Lava Custard and Bunny Shape Lava Chocolate Flavor. The custard inside is so tasty! It's double baked so the custard is so creamy. Not to mention super cute! Make sure to grab some and share it with your loved ones.
