BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, 1962
Thanks to the help from @goodhousekeeping and @traegergrills, I managed to make, perhaps, the greatest sandwich I’ve ever cooked.
We all know and love a Pulled Pork sando, so slap that with some grilled pineapple, pickled shallots and chilies and you’ve got something that tugs on your heart-strings.
Thanks again to Traeger for sending me their Woodridge Pro - I expect to be cooking on this A LOT.

The 4 o’clock Pickup Drink, 1969
This simple throwback wasn’t bad but I have notes.
Printed in the Mike Douglas Cookbook, this recipe was a favorite from singer Smilin’ Jack Smith.
It has legs but blending with ice numbs the palette and strips away flavor, so I would suggest more honey and a pinch of salt to wake up your taste buds.
They definitely found a new way to add gelatin to anything they could find.
Would you try it?
Happy Spam Musubi Day!
This tasty treat was on the books for National Spam Day and gave me an opportunity to use my Sujihiki slicer from @mercerculinary, along with several other staple tools of theirs!
This comes together in no time at all and if you’re nervous about Spam or haven’t had this dish yet, buckle up! #SpamMusubi
