My kids are only little...still in that “what hobbies will they love, who will their friends be?” stage of primary school.

AD | So illegal vaping genuinely wasn’t on my radar of things to think about this early.

But the more l’ve looked into it, the more l’ve realised this isn’t a far off issue happening somewhere else. Schools and communities across the UK are raising concerns about children accessing illegal vape products, and it’s something many parents may need to understand sooner than expected.

It’s made me want to start those
conversations earlier, rather than wait until they’re older. Obviously I’m not going to go into all the details with them at 6 and almost 4, but I do want them to grow up understanding that some choices aren’t safe and that they can always talk to us.

I honestly think it’s time we backed stronger action against those selling illegal vapes to children in the first place.
