Recipe:

½ cup buttermilk
¼ cup sour cream
⅓ cup butter, melted
5 scallions, charred
1 egg yolk
½ tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
1 sheet seaweed, toasted
Pinch salt

1. To a blender (if using a stick blender, add to a tall measuring cup), add your egg yolk, and chopped charred scallions. 
2. While the blender is running, slowly stream the hot butter into the blender to cook the egg yolk. Blend until smooth.
3. To the blender add the buttermilk, sour cream, roasted crushed seaweed, sesame seeds, lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
4. Blend to combine.
5. Serve alongside your favorite bbq. Store in the fridge when not using. Best consumed within 3-4 days.
Filipino Champorado but as Ice Cream! Tablea, coconut milk and glutinous rice are blended up and spun in an ice cream maker. Can’t forget the chocolate covered anchovy add ins 😋 sweet and salty ftw
