I was so excited when the pink boarding pass with cute characters came through and I realized we’d be on this plane BUT, gotta give you some real talk about this plane though… ✈️ The Hello Kitty plane and 6 total planes with Sanrio characters were from a collaboration that Eva Air did with Sanrio beginning in 2005. The specific plane we were on was reallllly old with not a lot of amenities and in general it just felt old and tired. 😅 I had seen some older TikToks of this plane and it showed it being totally decked out in Hello Kitty including the safety video, barf bags, and more. I was bummed to find the Hello Kitty stuff has since been scaled back HOWEVER it was still cute and a fun idea. The boarding passes, headrests, flight attendant uniforms, snacks, cups, and utensils are still in theme but they have since changed out the safety video and taken away some of the other stuff from when it was originally launched over 20 years ago. Overall, I was still excited to get to experience it and it was a very fun surprise to see the pink character boarding pass come through ☺️ #hellokitty #hellokittyplane #sanrio #evaair #travelvlog
Went on a little SIDE side quest from my normal Louisville fitness studio series to try out a reformer Pilates class in Bali. This class was HARD 😂 and it was Aaron’s and my brother’s first reformer Pilates class lol 😅 We tried out @reformpilatesbali in Uluwatu and it was awesome. The space was soooo cute AND there was a cafe on the rooftop of it! When you buy a single class it comes with a free matcha 😂 the perfect combo. 🍵 ALSO, I thought it was wild I could use my @classpass there!!! 1AM wake-up call → sunrise from the top of an active volcano 🌋🌅 📍 Mount Batur, Bali, Indonesia Mount Batur is 5,633 ft tall and sits inside a massive volcanic caldera in Bali. It’s also part of the Batur UNESCO Global Geopark and has erupted at least 22 times since 1804 😅🤯 The hike is considered beginner-friendly, but don’t let that fool you 🙈 it’s an uphill steady climb over rocky, loose volcanic terrain, and doing it in the dark definitely adds to the challenge 😂 But really going up is fine it’s the going down that kinda sucked. 🫠 I’d say it’s worth it though. Watching the sunrise from the summit was for sure one of the coolest things we’ve done in Bali. Tips: 🌅 Go early for sunrise! ⛰️ This hike has to be done with a licensed guide (it’s about $42 USD per person) 🥾 It’s about a 1.5 hour hike up (bring shoes with good traction the terrain is loose!) 💡 Headlamp (our guide provided headlamps so you can just ask before) 💧 Bring water 🌅 Wear layers / bring a jacket it’s very cold at the top! 🥶 Would you get up at 1am for this? #Bali #MountBatur #BaliTravel #BaliIndonesia UbudBali #BaliHiking SunriseHike
