Visiting the Washington Co. Agricultural Fair (a foodie’s dream)🎡🍟🍔

Last night was such a beautiful night to visit the Washington County Agricultural Fair. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to the county fair, but it was so much fun to relive the nostalgia of it all. Jourdan and I had a fun little date night out of it!

Best eats:
🍔 Burger & cheesesteak from U.P Canonsburg Church (inside food court)
🍟 Loaded BRICK of fries from Alice’s Rollin’ Restaurant (outside of the food court right near Spring House)
🍦Strawberry pretzel volcano and apple dumpling from The Spring House!
🍕 Pizza and caramel apples from Bentleyville Pizza (inside food court) - regular slice was better than the square
🍋 Lemonade & limeaid from The Rustic Lemonade Co.
🍿 Kettle Corn from the stand near the exit

Pro tip: use the park & ride at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum ($5 per person) and avoid the muddy parking lot at the fairgrounds 😊🚉
Talk about a GEM!! Itamae should be high up on your list next time you’re craving Thai & sushi! 🍣🔥

We were craving sushi the other night, so we went back to try Itamae again! Their menu ranges from Thai noodle dishes to Japanese specialties, not to mention their sushi is some of the best I’ve ever tried in the South Hills. Here’s what we tried this time:

🦀 Krab Rangoons - 10/10 new favorite of mine
🍣 Tuna Tataki
🍹 Thai Tea
🐟 Poke Nachos
🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen w/ Pork Belly
🐓 Chicken Katsu
🍣 Itamae Roll (w/ blue crab - SO GOOD)
🐟 Salmon Belly - UNREAL
🦆 Duck Pad Kea Mao - their Thai dishes are 🔥
🍌 Banana Tempura w/ vanilla ice cream
🥭 Mango Sticky Rice

Give this spot a try next time you’re craving sushi/Thai in the South Hills area. It is such a gem, plus it’s a family owned spot (and they are really really sweet). 💎💙

Market District just launched their new doughlicious cookies, and I got a behind the scenes look at the decorating process.(shoutout to the bakery team at Settlers Ridge!)😍

I was able to give them a taste test, and they are all sooooo decadent! If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you need to try these. My favorite was the peanut butter chocolate, but the raspberry cream cheese cookie was my next choice. Delicious! 🍪

You can find these in the bakery section at your local @marketdistrict 🛒✨🍪
