Them: What did you do today?
Me: Oh, nothing… 🥴😂

Meanwhile, “nothing” somehow included mom life, a workout, work, errands, carpool, after school activities, and approximately 47 other things 🙃

I’m learning that some seasons aren’t about perfectly balancing everything. Sometimes you’re just moving things around, leaning on your village, doing what you can and trusting that somehow, the important stuff gets done.

Just another very normal day in the life of doing “nothing” 😅

I’ve realized there’s a big difference between having time and MAKING time because if I waited until I had time for everything that matters to me…a lot of it simply wouldn’t happen.

I don’t magically have extra hours for Pilates and tennis, building a business, creating content, being present with my kids, pouring into friendships, or taking care of myself….especially right now when my time feels more precious than ever. So, I’m learning to be much more intentional with it.

Here’s what that looks like for me:

I put it on the calendar: If something matters to me, it gets an actual place in my day not just a spot on the mental “hopefully” list.

I’ve stopped waiting for the perfect amount of time: 20 minutes of Pilates counts. An hour working on my business counts. A quick coffee with a friend counts.

I accent that making time for one thing sometimes means saying no to another: In this season, prioritizing is key.

I’m definitely still figuring things out, but one thing I know for sure: you probably won’t ever just “have” time for everything that matters to you. Sometimes you have to decide what deserves your time and make room for it. Time is too precious not to ♥️

I’ve spent a lot of my life thinking the next thing was the main thing… always looking forward to the next goal, the next opportunity, and the next version of me. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting more . I actually really love that about myself. I’m ambitious, I have big dreams, and there are still so many things I want to build, experience and become… But lately I’ve been trying to get better at looking around while I’m building.

There are things in my life right now that a previous version of me wanted SO badly. Things I prayed for, worked for, questioned whether they’d ever even happen… and then somehow they became my norm.

I don’t want to be so focused on where I’m going that I forget to appreciate where I am. So,I’m learning to hold both: I’m incredibly grateful AND I still want more.

Turns out ambition and gratitude were never meant to be opposites ♥️

Pilates works wonders for the body but I think what it does in terms of confidence might be even better. There’s something about getting stronger, learning how to really connect with your body, and watching yourself become capable of things that used to feel HARD that changes the way you carry yourself. Your waist getting a little snatched along the way certainly doesn’t hurt either 😂

Pilates has become such a huge part of how I take care of myself, both physically and mentally, and I want more women to experience how GOOD it can make you feel, so I put together a quick beginner 15-minute waist-snatching Pilates workout you can do right at home. The full workout is LIVE on YouTube now. Save this for later, then head to my YouTube and come move with me!

Report back because I need to know if your core was talking to you afterward like mine was 😂🔥
