2 years ago our financial situation was….

We were living paycheck to paycheck. We had thousands in minimum payments every month. We were terrible with money and spent basically everything on credit cards.

After I lost my brother and shortly after my father-in-law in 2024, it hit me like a ton of bricks…this life is way too short and you don’t know when you’re going to leave this planet.

I was working ALL.THE.TIME. Literally like 80-100 hours a week. At one point, I worked 3 jobs (full time firefighter, part-time paramedic, and part-time medic in the ER).

I was done with working myself to death, missing my family, and watching my kids grow up from FaceTime. I needed to change that!

And so I started making a plan on how to pay off our debt. Made a simple budget, read about the debt snowball method, and just simply started!

My Instagram feed then all became other people paying off debt and sharing their journey. I saw these people not only make significant dents in their debt but also starting making some money online!

“Why couldn’t I do this too?!” And so I did!

Early 2025 I started posting about being a firefighter in debt and share my debt free journey. I also shared some insight into my career and some thoughts about being a dad.

Here I am about 18 months later and I’m partnering with brands, selling some products, creating UGC videos, and bringing in more income from social media than I am from my firefighter career! This has significantly accelerated my debt payoff journey and has truly changed my family’s life.

Thank you to every one of my 235,000 followers across platforms!
