🤠 WHAT IS COWBOYS MUSIC FESTIVAL?
CMF is an 10-day music festival that runs every year during the Calgary Stampede. It’s one of the most iconic festival tents in the city and this year marks its 30th anniversary. Every night features a different headliner spanning hip-hop, pop, country, and EDM, all under one tent at Cowboys Park in Downtown West Calgary.

📋 3 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
→ Bring two pieces of government-issued ID. CMF is strictly 18+ and they might turn you away at the gate with just one.

→ Do not drive. There’s no dedicated parking lot. Take the C-Train to Downtown West Kerby Station, which sits right beside Cowboys Park. If you’re taking Uber or Lyft, the designated pickup and drop-off point is at 10th St and 8th Ave SW.

→ Only buy tickets through Tixr. That’s the official ticketing partner. Third-party and resale tickets are not guaranteed valid and might be refused at the gates.

Nobody told me the Grandstand Show was three events in one ticket.

The Evening Show kicks off nightly and covers the entire night.
1️⃣ First, the Rangeland Derby Chuckwagon Races: Wagons thunder towards the finish line with real stakes on the line.
2️⃣ Then the ENMAX Relay Races: Indigenous riders race bareback at high speeds, swap horses mid-lap, and make something genuinely adrenaline-fueled look graceful.
3️⃣ And then the Grandstand Show presented by Freedom Mobile takes the stage.

Each year, the show is headlined by a different major recording artist and features the Young Canadians, an international lineup of acrobats, dancers, and elite performers rounds out a production that feels much bigger than what you expect walking in. The lineup changes, but the energy never does.

The whole night closes with a drone show and fireworks display that lights up the Calgary skyline.

A few things worth knowing before you go:
• Your Evening Show ticket includes park admission for that same day, so there is no reason not to arrive early and make a full day of it.
• If you want covered seating, levels 2, 5, and 7 have you sorted. And buy in advance because weekends sell out every year.
• The Grandstand Show runs for 10 nights every July.
