This overthinking has a serious hold on me lately & it’s got to stop. Lately I feel like I can’t get out of my own way! I can’t make a decision, I can’t make up my own mind. 🤷‍♀️

Today I found my answer! A kit!!! I have everything I need to start a project. I bought this kit a year ago and dang it, it’s about time I make it.

Follow along cause I’ll be sharing the process! And hey if you need a fun kit check out @quiltwithmisskate she’s always dropping the CUTEST fabrics & kits!
It’s kind of crazy how easy it is to convince ourselves that something is true when literally no one has said it.

I get in my own head ALL the time. I overthink things. I decide I’ve shared too much, talked too much, posted too much, and that people are probably thinking, okay, enough already. 😂

But here’s the thing… nobody actually said that. I did. I made that up in my own head and then started making decisions based on it.

And this conversation was such a good reminder for me because I AM still sewing. Almost every single day. You just don’t always see it because sometimes I talk myself out of sharing it.

How many things do we do this with? How many times do we talk ourselves out of doing something because of what we think someone else might think?

Maybe sometimes we just need to stop believing everything our own brain tells us. 😂

And if you’re interested in the pouch or the embroidery designs, just comment POUCH and I’ll send the info your way!
If you’ve had that little voice in the back of your head saying, “Maybe I could actually do something with this…” I really want you to listen to it.

I know how easy it is to keep waiting until you know more, have more time, feel more ready, or have everything figured out. But I can tell you from experience, you figure so much of it out by simply STARTING.

That’s why we created Crafters Business Academy. I took what I’ve learned building my business over the years and combined it with the knowledge of the two business coaches who have been helping me grow for the last five years. And for six weeks, you get to learn from all of us, ask questions, get live coaching, and have people in your corner helping you figure out what YOUR business could look like. Everything is recorded too, so you can learn on your own time and at your own pace.

There is SO much value packed into these six weeks, but more than anything, I want you to see what can happen when you finally decide to take that idea seriously and do something for yourself.

There really is no better time than right now. ❤️

Seats are limited, the doors will be closing soon, and the special pricing is only available for a short time.

Comment CBA and I’ll send you the link with all the details. Take a look. Ask yourself “what if?” And maybe this is the time you finally find out.
First things first: I’m not going anywhere. ❤️ I’m still right here on Instagram. It’s just going to look a little different around here, and I’m really excited about it.

I’ve felt a shift happening for a while now. One of those little nudges that keeps saying, pay attention… something is changing. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the last 10 years of building this business, it’s to listen to those nudges. My gut hasn’t led me astray yet, so I’m following it.

Creating, sewing, quilting and embroidery will always be at the heart of what I do. But I’m also giving myself room to explore new creative hobbies, share the things I genuinely use and love, work with brands I believe in, tell you something funny that happened, or just sit down and TALK to you.

And when you want to really learn from me, YouTube is going to be the place to go. That’s where I can slow down, teach in more detail, and give you tutorials you can pause, rewind, save and come back to whenever you need them.

Instagram gets to be a little more SOCIAL again. And I have to tell you, that sounds really freaking fun to me.

I don’t know exactly where this nudge is taking me yet. But I’m listening. I’m following my gut. And after 10 years of doing exactly that, I’m pretty excited to see what happens next.

So stick around. I have a feeling we’re going to have a LOT of fun. ❤️

And since my current creative obsession is cross stitch, tell me yours. What are you completely obsessed with right now?
