Sogeum-ppang or salt bread is a trendy Korean inspired bread and mom has been wanting to try the real deal so the internet led me to @out.of.ordi in Koreatown, LA. 

We tried a version in Portland annnd it was NOTHING like this one. This one had a perfectly crisp outside and a subtle sweetness that balanced nicely with the salt. Probably lots of butter but so worth it. PS. They open at 11:30 but people were lining up 30 minutes before opening so get there early!
