At some point as a kid, I genuinely believed adults had life figured out. That they knew what they were doing. That they had answers. Then I became an adult. Turns out most of us are just trying our best whilst pretending we’re not making half of it up as we go along. The teacher. The boss. The business owner. The parent. The person who looks like they’ve got everything together. They’re usually carrying the same doubts, worries and questions as everyone else. And I find that strangely comforting. Because maybe you’re not behind. Maybe you’re not failing. Maybe you’re just experiencing the exact same confusion humans have been experiencing since the beginning of time. Some people will get you. Some won’t. And that’s okay. I think one of the hardest lessons in life is realising that belonging isn’t about convincing everyone to like you. It’s about finding the people who love you for exactly who you are. The weird bits. The passionate bits. The bits that don’t quite fit inside everybody else’s boxes. Speaking of things that don’t fit in boxes… Today Chris and I have been working on something rather exciting. The Plantstock photo booth is nearly finished. A ridiculous little creation designed to capture some equally ridiculous memories. This week I’ll be collecting the backdrop from my mate Nigel, who’s been helping bring the vision to life, and then… BOOM. Plantstock photo booth complete. Another little piece of the madness falls into place. We’re now only a couple of weeks away from hundreds of plant-loving humans descending on Worcestershire for what has somehow become the world’s most wholesome jungle-fuelled family reunion. I genuinely cannot wait. Who knows… Some of the photos taken in that booth might end up becoming memories people look back on years from now. And I think that’s pretty special. One love, tiny phone people ❤️🫶🏽🙌🪴
