[CANTONESE REEL] ONLY $10 👀 VANCOUVER’S BEST PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS 溫哥華必試平價餃子 😌

My husband and I have honestly been disappointed by most of the dumplings we’ve tried in Metro Vancouver since coming back from Asia. We kept saying we wished we could find a place that reminded us of the ones we had overseaS and I think we finally found it. Yummy Dumplings serves freshly made pan fried dumplings with perfectly crispy bottoms, soft chewy wrappers, and juicy fillings that actually taste homemade. For just $10 for 10 handmade pan fried dumplings, I genuinely think this is one of the best cheap eats in Metro Vancouver 😍

✨ PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS ✨
— Pork & Chives (10 pcs): $10
— Pork & Cabbage (10 pcs): $10
— Pork & Celery (10 pcs): $10
— Pork & Sauerkraut (10 pcs): $10
— Pork & Corn (10 pcs): $10
— Beef (10 pcs): $11
— Chive & Egg (10 pcs): $11

✨ CLAIRE’S HONEST REVIEW ✨
I think what impressed me the most was how consistent everything was. The bottoms were beautifully crispy without being greasy, while the wrappers stayed soft and chewy. The fillings were juicy, flavourful, and tasted fresh instead of overly processed, which is surprisingly hard to find. My personal favourites were the Pork & Chives and the Beef, but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the flavours. This is the kind of place that doesn’t need to be flashy. It simply makes really good dumplings at a price that’s hard to beat. If you’ve been looking for authentic pan fried dumplings that remind you of the ones you’d find in Asia, I definitely think this place is worth checking out 🩷

ONLY $7 EACH 👀 VANCOUVER’S BEST CHEAP EATS DEAL 😮‍💨 @marblehouseeatery

With how expensive eating out has become lately, I honestly appreciate restaurants that still try to keep prices reasonable. Marble House Eatery has kept this $9.99 at the same price for over 6 years, and recently even introduced their buy 2 get 1 free deal, so when you split the deal, it works out to around $7 per rice box with a drink included. If you are already spending over $10, you can also get a box of desserts for just $3, which is honestly such a good deal 🩵

✨ BUY 2 GET 1 FREE DEAL ✨
— $9.99 each (drink included)
— Buy 2 get 1 free
— Works out to around $7 per rice box
— Mix & Match your choices
— Take out only!

✨ RICE BOX OPTIONS ✨

✨ HONEST THOUGHTS ✨
I like that you’re not limited to ordering the same thing because you can mix and match depending on what you’re craving. The portions are filling, every rice box comes with a drink, and there are lots of classic Cantonese BBQ options to choose from. Honestly, this is honestly one of the better deals I’ve come across lately. If you’ve never been before, Marble House Eatery is also known for their Cantonese BBQ, dim sum, congee, and all-you-can-eat hot pot, so there’s plenty more to try beyond the rice boxes 😍

THESE SPOTS ARE SO BUSY 😮‍💨 ONLY 6 DAYS LEFT IN THIS FOOD FESTIVAL 👀 @taionetrading

There’s just 6 days left in the festival so I actually went to all 4 restaurants to try the popular Kaohsiung festival items in one single day! Running through July 31, the 2026 Best of Kaohsiung Fruit Carnival brings incredible fresh fruit dishes from Taiwan straight to local spots across Metro Vancouver. Plus, if you order any designated festival item and post an IG story tagging @taionetrading, you can get an exclusive free gift (a custom wooden phone stand) mailed directly to your home while supplies last!

✨ Claire’s Honest Review ✨
I’ve always loved fresh fruits from Kaohsiung, so visiting all these spots in one day to try everything was an absolute dream and honestly, I loved everything I tried. Specialty food trails like this are such a fun excuse to hop around different restaurants and taste creative, limited-time creations you can’t normally get. The variety across these spots is amazing, ranging from savory dishes like the beef stir fry to decadent afternoon teas and shaved ice. With only a few days left, you’ll definitely want to grab a friend, order one of the featured items, and snag that free phone stand before it ends!

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, BC Halal Food Fest is back for three days in Surrey. It’s the largest halal food festival in Western Canada, bringing together over 50 food vendors, local businesses, live entertainment, carnival rides and food from all around the world. Whether you’re coming for the food, the atmosphere or just to spend the day with family and friends, there’s honestly something for everyone 💛

— July 24 to 26, 2026
— Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre
— 17728 64 Ave, Surrey, BC
— Free Admission

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT ✨
— 50+ halal food vendors
— 50+ local market vendors
— Food from around the world
— Carnival rides & midway games
— Live entertainment & cultural performances
— Family-friendly activities

✨ Claire’s Honest Take ✨
One of my favourite things about food festivals is just walking around and trying different foods, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. I honestly love food festivals because they’re one of the easiest ways to try a bunch of different foods all in one place instead of driving all over Metro Vancouver. The atmosphere was so lively, there were tons of food options from different cuisines, and I genuinely don’t think we had enough room to try everything we wanted. Even if you’re not specifically looking for halal food, there’s such a huge variety that almost everyone will find something they want to try. I’d definitely recommend coming hungry because there’s no way you’ll only end up getting one thing!
