If you’re trying to make it in business, here’s why most networking is a complete waste of time:

I built a 7 figure coaching business by 26, been in business 6 years, and now my entire friend group is of successful entrepreneurs.

I don’t believe in 99% of networking

Because anyone worth networking with that can actually add value is not going to a free local meet up or speaker event.

With a “ come network with like-minded people “ pitch with zero barrier to entry.

Those events are filled with beginners who haven’t built anything, or looking for help/just a pitch fest lol.

Nothing wrong with that. But likely, you’re going to networking events because you want high-quality people that can add value to you.

Anyone who is genuinely successful and can actually add something to your life is extremely protective of their time

They’re not showing up to a free event on a Tuesday night

If you wanna do networking right, you need to get an event that are exclusive, where it’s hard to get in

The harder it is to get in, the higher the level of people inside.

Two things that actually changed my network:

I paid $10,000 to join a business mastermind (put it on a credit card)

Most of my closest friends now came from that group, or are friends of friends from that mastermind.

The price filtered out anyone that wasn’t serious about growing a business. So everyone in there was already somewhat successful, or took massive risk.

I also joined a supercar club in Dubai where the requirement to get in is but you have to own a specific type of car.

Because of that entry requirement, everyone inside had actually built something real.

This is just my opinion, but if you want networking to actually be worth your time, you have to either accept that its pay to play.

Or take the time that you’d be going to free networking events and work on your business instead.
My perspective on what it’s like to date as a woman in business
Here's the thing about being a woman

The more successful you are, and the more you glow up physically, the more it looks "too good" for you to have done it yourself

When you're broke, nobody questions your intelligence

But the second you look like you're winning, suddenly there must be a man behind it

I know you've felt this

Maybe it's the colleague who assumed you got the opportunity because of pretty privilege

Or the people from your past who see your life now and quietly decide there's no way you built that yourself

When I was 23 I was buying near-expired groceries, taking home £1,600 a month from corporate

Nobody assumed I was being funded by a man then

I quit my job, broke my lease, moved to India to build my business from nothing

By 26 I did my first 7 figures in revenue
Then I moved to Dubai

And that's when the comments started
Escort, OF, sugar daddy

The same drive, the same work ethic, the same woman, just with a nicer aesthetic

And suddenly the whole story changes in people's minds

That is exactly why I do what I do

Because I refuse to let that be the narrative for women like us

You are allowed to like nice things without being a gold digger
You are allowed to take care of your appearance without being shallow
You are allowed to create real wealth without sacrificing your morals, your dignity, or your femininity to get there

You don't have to pick between being the pretty girl or the successful girl

You don't have to use your body or find a rich man to fund it🖤
