What it is REALLY like to travel as an autistic person🎧✈️📸🧚‍♀️

I try to show both the good and the bad moments because I think it’s important to see the entire picture of autism depicted on social media. I love to travel, I have the most amazing experiences while traveling, and I am so grateful that I get to travel as part of my job.

But on the other hand, that doesn’t mean that travel is easy for me. I do have my fair share of bad moments. You as a viewer just don’t see them too often because I simply just don’t catch them on camera most of the time.

So instead of showing my bad moments, I thought I would just open up a conversation about it. Social media is often a highlight reel and I think it’s important for viewers to know that they are often missing the bad moments and they shouldn’t compare themselves to what they see on social media. I also want to paint a realistic picture of what traveling as an autistic person looks like so that any other autistic people who want to travel can see a realistic version of what that may look like.
