A castle in Missouri?! 😮

🏰 Ha Ha Tonka State Park is one of the most beautiful and unique of Missouri’s State Parks. Located along Lake of the Ozarks, the park features intriguing history and geological wonders.

🏰 The most popular attraction at the park is the “castle ruins” which are the remains of a mansion that was consumed by fire in 1942. The stone remains of the carriage house and water tower are also nearby.

🥾The park features many more miles of trails that lead to more scenic wonders such as Ha Ha Tonka Spring, a natural rock bridge, and sinkholes.

🥾 The trail to the castle is uphill but paved and short. The lower spring trail is also flat and mostly easy as there is one short section of rock to scramble through.

🌿 The park also features a small visitor center, kayak rentals, and water access.

🚻 Restrooms are located at several locations around the park (flush restrooms are next to the visitor center and open park hours)
