Short person problems ‼️🤏🏼

Any little people out there relate?
£100 on tailoring just to look like a respectable grownup. Grrrr.

I’m done.

Been on a bit of a wardrobe clear out this year as my fashion goal for 2026 is to only dress in clothes that fit me and flatter me instead of dressing ‘on trend’. Oh and I want to dress my age. Oh and I want to keep things I’ll have for life that are sensible or natural materials. It feels really good, but it can be really expensive when brands don’t cater for people that are vertically challenged.

I’m only 5ft and I’ve always been the shortest. It’s been a forever battle. I dug out a journal from when I was 15-17 for our next pod recording this week and I noticed I even wrote about being short in that.

Small girls - I want to know what item of clothing do you struggle with the most? What are your horror/comedy stories ?

Volume ON and UP 😮‍💨

“No hair.”
“But LOTS of eyebrows.”
“Why are there so many lines?”
“They look like sausages.”

There is nothing more humbling than a 4 year old. When I get these two nutty nutjobs together it’s like sitting front row at the circus. I don’t know who’s more honest, the 4 year old or the 76 year old?

The funniest part of this video is how much my dad will be hating the invasion of personal space 😅😂😂😂😂
Ryan freaked out that I wasn’t wearing ‘handles’ half way through and he kept touching Winnie 😅😂😂 but I wasn’t gonna let that hold me back. Who wants to see the BTS?

Oh and anyone know the casting directors for strictly? Not sure about the curse… but I feel like we’d be pretty good candidates 😵‍💫

Ps. If you’re facing the reality of a stoma bag, then let me tell you that you can still do hard things, or ANY thing for that matter. Today I went to watch Ryan in a fitness challenge in east London and I had TWO people come up to me to say they had stoma bags and they were taking part. I was so impressed 😮‍💨. It was a gruelling workout. 🏋️

Made me wanna get back into it tbf. Ryan is doing an Ironman in Hawaii in June and I feel like I should set myself a mini challenge at some point to see if I can push myself a bit. Especially now I’ve overcome quite a bad flare and managed to get myself back into remission without ending up in the bad place. Maybe there’s hope for clawing my old identity back after all?!?? I’m just still quite scared.

[ad] Recently I’ve been paying attention to how I start my start my day. I find that a few intentional choices can completely shift your energy. Sometimes my morning’s look calm and grounded and other times it looks like voluntarily sticking my face in a bowl of ice and then letting my partner throw me around the living room to get my ‘movement’ in. All about that balance ;-).

One thing I’ve become more conscious of this year is hydrating first thing. Most of us wake up dehydrated, so starting the day with electrolytes can make a big difference to how I feel and function.

Hydration Booster by Gatorade has become part of that routine. Low sugar, no artificial nasties, and a boost of electrolytes plus B3 & B6 vitamins to help reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Cold exposure, proper hydration and doing something mildly uncomfortable before the day properly kicks off makes me feel pretty good. I feel awake, de puffed, clear-headed, and strangely proud of myself for learning some unhinged routine.

Small habits. Small wins. They all add up.
