I got surgery… Twice.😑

It’s a pretty common thing to deal with kidney stones when you’re spending life in a seated position. This is why it’s important for me to be able to stand, have stretching routines throughout the day, hydrate like crazy, and have a well-rounded diet.

Even while doing all that, stones can still form and I was lucky enough to have a stone that was causing recurring urinary tract infection infections by introducing bacteria into my urine every time my kidneys were filtering anything.

I know the shot of the catheter full of blood is a shock, but I think it’s important to show just how serious the shit can get.

Honestly, even if you’re able-bodied, it’s so easy, especially where we’re at in Florida to overheat, so it’s so important to stay hydrated because even you can be susceptible to these stones.

I promise you, they are not fun…

This is our weekend morning routine that’s more chill. This is a non-BP morning where we don’t have anything pressing going on afterward.

We adopted the breakfast in bed routine bc Sam used to get tired if he skipped getting nourishment first. Sam used to weigh significantly less back then but now his BMI is much healthier 👏

I try my best to get up first and take some time to wake up slow before I have to care for others, but I’m not a morning person 🫠 I’m trying to eliminate feeling rushed out of my life and vocabulary lol but you know how life gets.

Maybe soon we can record a faster paced morning but I find it hard to record intentionally when we have to get moving.
