You could have said you may have also met an astronaut or someone who went to war and you never knew it…. #hiv #story
In 1989, I was born HIV positive and disabled alongside my twin brother.

In 1990, I was brought to the NIH and put on the first infants with HIV drug trial under the supervision of Dr. Fauci.

That same year, my twin brother John would pass away due to pneumonia, despite all the hard work, efforts and medical professionals that did all they could.

In 2006, I came out about being HIV positive in a theater camp and felt a sense of relief and strength I never had before.

In 2008, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and get into the film industry.

In 2011, I would walk 6.2 miles in the LA AIDS Walk as part of a documentary I produced which became an award winning film called Walk On.

In the years from 2014 and on, I would begin booking acting roles on TV and in commercials, I’d do public speaking events, I’d become an award winning screenwriter and advocate for those with disabilities and HIV.

In 2023, I’d marry my soulmate, my best friend and my creative partner.

In 2025, We had our first child. He was born HIV negative (my wife is HIV negative as well.)

It’s 2026 and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
