Skateholders Forum 2025 Ceske Budejovice, Czechia. I had the pleasure of contributing to a panel with @lenkazdr and @gyrosviita about skateboarding and sustainabilty considering environment, social and cultural concerns, made possible thanks to our chair @ch4ndon who brought clarity, insight and care. @skateholders_forum @novotel_ produced a fantastic event which got into important issues in skateboarding around coping strategies with @semesterskate Chris Jones and @dropinrideout for a panel chaired by Sam Buchan-Watts. Rolling inclusion with @franzz.c @_veintitres_ @bellasdailysketch and chaired by Sabina Du拧ejovsk谩. There were workshops, spot sessions, bands and an incredible dj set from Radio Romansa. All against the backdrop of an exhibition of work by artists who explore many dimensions of skateboarding using art and socio cultural material. A valuable, moving and impeccably presented show. The week when the one and only @goodwillinghunting comes to stay at our house as part of her Churchill Fellowship research trip. We have a thousand amazing conversations, we skate, ice skate! get to hang out with @ongadelina and family, @keeprolling_co, @anchovy_everything and then 馃殏 to Plymouth for @civic_space @take_a_part_plymouth Rolling Together Micro symposium hosted by @borthwickben where we see loads of friends old and new. Hang out with @bedir.bekar @peejhk and @theboardmumsclub and @vantablack_pobble. Yattering, art @karstgallery, skating @primeskateparkcafe and swimming in the flippin sea, fish n chips a pint of fine St Austell beer and then home. Phew! Huge props to everyone we鈥檝e seen this week, all the contributors in Plymouth and especially to Indi for fun, sparkle, a great eye for 馃摳馃帴 and helping me focus and think hard about important things.
