Orange & cranberry jam 🍊

No added sugar, full of antioxidants, suitable from 6 months AND only 3 ingredients… what more could you want?! ✨

This is a perfect way to use that punnet of cranberries you bought that are now just sitting in the fridge!
Use this jam to top yogurt/porridge/toast/cakes/crackers, fill pies/pinwheels/sandwiches … the list goes on. Adults could even add a dollop or frozen block to some Prosecco or Buck’s Fizz 🍾

You’ll need:
• 250g cranberries (washed)
• 8 oranges (juice - approx 300-400ml & zest)
• 2tbsp chia seeds

1️⃣ Add everything to a saucepan, give it all a mix then simmer on a medium heat stirring occasionally to make sure nothing sticks
2️⃣ Once the mixture starts to thicken, carefully mash down the cranberries until you get a lovely red colour jam
3️⃣ Decant into some sterilised jars then cool before popping in the fridge and/or into a mini muffin tray (or similar) and freeze until solid then pop into a labelled bag for an easy grab portion of jam (perfect for cooling down porridge quickly for kids)

Family friendly tiramisu 🍰

A delicately spiced dessert that’s creamy, low sugar, low caffeine AND suitable for the whole family! Perfect for that tiramisu fix without creating 2 desserts this festive season 👌🏻

👶🏻 This can be suitable from 6 months as there’s no sugar added, HOWEVER, there is sugar on the sponge fingers so you can give baby a little bit of the cream topping and cinnamon or if they are a little older they could have a little bit of the sponges if you are happy for them to.

You’ll need:
• 10 chai tea bags
• 300ml double cream
• 250g mascarpone
• 15 sponge fingers
• 2tsp cinnamon (optional)

1️⃣ Brew the tea bags in 300ml boiling water and leave to one side for 10-15 minutes before straining and removing the tea bags
2️⃣ Whip the cream until thickened then whisk in the mascarpone
3️⃣ Soak each sponge finger for a couple of seconds (turning over if needed so it’s fully submerged) then place in a dish (do this with half of them)
4️⃣ Spread half of the cream mixture on the sponge fingers then repeat with the remaining sponge fingers and cream mixture
5️⃣ Refrigerate for at least an hour or so (better overnight so a great one to make ahead of your event)
6️⃣ Dust with some cinnamon and then serve and ENJOY
