![[AD invite] Last weekend, Devon With Kids contributor @StaceyJSheppard and her family spent 4 days at @gonewildfestivaldevon near Exeter.
The fun-filled family festival by British adventurer @beargrylls is set in the stunning grounds of Powderham Castle and is perfect for families who want to embrace the great outdoors and reconnect with their wild side.
The event boasts over 100 free activities from abseiling, archery, raft building and survival skills to nerf wars, hula hooping, Krav Maga and circus skills. There is plenty to do for kids and adults and if the free activities aren't enough there are also activity upgrades that you can book at an additional price.
Live music takes place every night allowing you to end each day in style and really bring the festival vibe.
Weekend tickets include general camping with optional accommodation upgrades available and locals can buy day passes and evening tickets to access the event without camping.
Stacey and her family were super impressed with Gone Wild Festival Devon and are already planning to return next year for more wild adventure fun.
"We were so impressed with just how well the festival was organised. Camping facilities were great and there were toilets and drinking water everywhere you looked. The line up of events and music meant there was always something on the agenda we wanted to do and there was a wonderful selection of food stalls available. We would definitely recommend this festival to other families. It is great value for money and a super fun family festival."
